The theme of the projects for this posting was anything to do with transitions or change. My card (based on a sketch by Julia Sandvoss) is made with Making Memories Natural embellishment paper, chipboard butterfly, rubons from DCWV and Creative Imaginations. It is 5" square in size. I am definitely going through a metamorphosis...

Anywho...Dh and I were busy this weekend moving my studio from the main floor to the downstairs. It has been quite the task to take down my counter tops and cabinets...all 16 feet of them! In case you're wondering why I'm making this move....
We recently had our basement waterproofed after the flooding that we had in Ohio last September. We lost carpet, furniture, etc. and had to UN finish our finished basement so it could be waterproofed. We completed the refinishing process (finally) and decided that we should move my studio downstairs into the den. That way each of the 3 boys would have their own bedroom. My hope is to post unbelievably organized, inspiring and downright awesome studio photos in the next few weeks. (haha)

Here are some photos of the chaos...I'll try to narrate along the way....
these are BEFORE images....(hiding in shame) lol

Here is an "IN PROGRESS" photo: I will be sure to share a few more once I'm further along in this (and not quite so hesitant of showing too much of my mess...)

I think we managed to accomplish quite a bit. The Expedit (square bookcase) was a little difficult but the cabinets and counter tops weren't too bad. Now I have to weed through the "stuff". Watch for a giveaway soon! As I get through the piles of product, I will be donating some goodies to our local art dept. at the schools. I have far too much STUFF! eek!

It's coming right along Stace! Will you share what size your Expedit is? I'm looking at getting the 4x4 one and I can't quite tell from the angle if thats what you have. If it is...how do you like the size? Does it hold enough? I don't have as much crap as you, so I'm curious. ROFL!!!
